In R&D IT, specifically Early Science, we have highly skilled scientists in our labs who experiment and support complex drug projects. The environment is driven by scientific and technical innovation with a high level of diversity in workflows, data and vendors.

About the role

We have exciting opportunity for LIMS Administrator working as part of global Lab IT within the R&D IT department. The role requires you to work closely with the technical team, Business stake holders to ensure sophisticated and on-time delivery of demand and service of different applications within the platforms.

To be successful in delivery, he/she must work very closely with the Application specialists across different infrastructure teams, when resolving incidents and problems.

Job Description

The role requires below essential capabilities:

• Resource should have knowledge in LIMS
• LIMS Admin 1&2 certification in Labware LIMS
• Must have hands on experience in LIMS Basic functions and Crystal Reports
• Should have Knowledge on Labware Architecture
• Should have experience in Labware or other LIMS vendor Installation & Configuration
• Should have Good understanding in Biobank management
• Knowledge on the Oracle Database and able to write queries for fetching reports /trouble shooting

Experience and Key Desired skills

• 6-9 years of experience working in LIMS applications, across support, upgrade, development activities
• Liaise with Infra team, vendor, and fix application related issues.
• Experience in providing L2 and L3 Level support with a good understanding of Change management process (bug fixes, customization changes, enhancements)
• Exposure to working in ITIL environment managing issues through Service Now, Remedy BMC and/or HP Service Centre.
• Analytical, Problem solving & Troubleshooting skills
• Updating self-help documents so customers/employees can try to fix problems themselves
• Good verbal & written communication skills.
• Good to have Python coding experience (Optional)
