Roles and Responsibilities


Regional Credit Lead :

  • Responsible for overall approval trends for their region viz. ensuring 90% approval rates and Rejects at less than 5%
  • Conducting periodic reviews with business to address their concerns
  • Mentoring team members and driving improvements in existing processes and SOPs
  • Handling Escalations in a timely manner and adherence to SLAs

Underwriting :

  • Performs credit analysis and underwriting activities for mid-size volume high risk accounts, evaluating financial position and credit worthiness, for prospective and existing commercial/merchant/portfolio accounts

Periodic Review :

  • Maintains and reviews current information on existing accounts.
  • Reviews credit history to assess credit worthiness of new prospective clients.

Monitoring :

  • Investigates the processing activity on accounts that have exceeded the parameters set in our risk management system and make a real time decision if the account is conducting business in a fraudulent manner or in a way that increases the credit exposure to Fiserv and its partners.

Decision Making :

  • Independent credit decisioning and interacting effectively and positively with all levels of personnel, partners, and vendors as well as customers.

Required Candidate profile

Desired Candidate Profile :

  • Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or related field, 3 to 5 years credit analysis experience or equivalent.
  • Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of basic credit & risk management practices.
  • Requires good communication (written and verbal), Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
