Role Summary

This role is in the SophosLabs Platform – Data Team and will assist in analyzing data sets, pinpointing trends, and aiding in data-driven decisions. The role will also participate in the development of analytical solutions to facilitate data-informed decisions, along with working with various teams to provide meaningful data for decision-making. The role is also responsible for analyzing security data and presenting findings in a structured manner.

What You Will Do

  • Understand business needs.
  • Assist in building data systems.
  • Use tools to analyze and organize large sets of data.
  • Identify data trends and create alerts for anomalies.
  • Conduct data analysis and present findings.
  • Assist in building algorithms.
  • Merge data from various sources.
  • Create visualizations for data representation.
  • Look for methods to improve data quality.
  • Collaborate with data Analysts on projects.

What You Will Bring

  • Ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, and basic programming.
  • Strong analytical skills with a background in data analytics.
  • Knowledge of Data Quality tools.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Communicate clearly about technical topics.
