He/she develops/leads a strong India local R&D team/organization incl. its people and processes to ensure that the R&D activities sustainably support

India business Development and strategy in alignment with regional and corporate strategies. As part of the A/P R&D team he/she supports the execution of all new product and VAVE projects for FGHP, drives product construction design and leads product industrialization

Responsibilities
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Manage R&D projects from ideation to market implementation in a multifunctional project team involving internal and external partners
  • Manage and support an existing product portfolio related to quality, regulatory compliance, cost saving, supply chain and production initiatives
  • Define the product specifications and required testing methods and testing plan for full technical product validation
  • Contribute in idea creation activities to fill the innovations pipeline
  • Monitor and create relevant Intellectual Property for the product portfolio
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Align with and update the R&D Director on resources, key project milestones and budget
  • Plans and coordinates product testing to do technical claim support, benchmark & competitor analysis
  • Manage and further develop Lab Technicians (where applicable)
  • Prepares Service and Repair documents and spare part list from R&D point of view

Qualifications
  • Minimum 11-12 years’ experience in product design and innovation, industrialization and production engineering focusing on hardware or related fields in internationally operating companies, with both project management and managerial experience
  • Bachelor degree in technical field or above (e.g. mechanical engineering)
