We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team at Koerber Supply Chain. You will be responsible for designing, enhancing and managing the CI/CD activities for our applications that are built on a variety of technologies. You will also be involved in migrating our applications to the latest versions of Java, MongoDB and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will work closely with the development and testing teams to ensure the quality and security of our software products.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Proficient in Java (8 to 17) & J2EE, JavaScript & Typescript, Node JS & Express JS
  • Familiar with frameworks such as Spring boot, Angular & Angular JS, JAX-RS web application with Apache CXF, Selenium, JMeter, Playwright
  • Experienced in working with databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB & Postgres
  • Knowledgeable in web containers/servers such as Wildfly (Jboss), Tomcat, Jetty, Apache, Nginx and other web components such as Hazelcast, Redis, Elasticsearch, Atlas search
  • Expert in build/deploy tooling such as Jenkins, Maven, NPM, ADO Pipelines, Nexus Artifactory management, SaltStack
  • Skilled in deploy, orchestration and monitoring tools such as Docker & Kubernetes, Rancher, Grafana/Prometheus/Loki, AWS Elastic Beanstalk
  • Familiar with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

You Should Also Be Able To

  • Migrate from Nexus repository to ADO artifacts
  • Migrate from Jenkins pipelines to ADO pipelines with test code coverage, unit testing and vulnerability reporting
  • Migrate from Java 8 to Java 17 using Maven
  • Migrate from MongoDB 4.4 to 5 and then to 6
  • Migrate to OCI platform
