You’ll join our Openshift Operation team, responsible for setting up, maintaining and evolving the Openshift infrastructure, as well as for supporting Dev/Test teams, infrastructure monitoring and alerting, issues troubleshooting and developing required automations.

All you need is...

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of hands-on experience installing , troubleshooting and configuring Red Hat OpenShift clusters / Kubernetes Clusters for microservices applications
• Experience with Container Technologies - Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience working with VMware products
• Deep understanding of monitoring , logging and tracing and troubleshoot issues and bring them to closure
• Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible
• System Operation hands-on - Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) , Openshift clusters configuration, scripting
• DevOps Tools/Technologies - Experience in IaaS/PaaS
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration certification – preferred
• Experience in AWS/GCP/Azure is an advantage
• Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems
• Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective
• Ability to write code – preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing English
• Good facilitation skills and team-player attitude

What will your job look like?

• You will be supporting RedHat OpenShift clusters on-premise for critical Microservices applications of Core R&D developers and production clusters for the customers
• You will work closely with Microservices application developers to ensure performance and reliability of existing platforms
• You will ensure availability, reliability and performance of deployed infrastructure
• You will work with Core Cloud Infrastructure such as Containers, Virtual Machines, Databases, Networking
• You will debug and troubleshoot issues OpenShift and related services
• You will investigate performance bottlenecks with services impacting developer software stack
• You will monitor, measure environment stability, network bottlenecks and overall health of the clusters
• You will be keen to identify areas of automations and willing to pursue them by giving demos and solutions
• You will be willing to support operations even during off hours in case business demands
• You will be given ample opportunities to learn technically by attending trainings, workshops and certifications
