Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Part of Global Total Rewards CoE function which responsible for the thought lead and design of Rewards programs in Teva

  • Oversee all Rewards plans and be the leader for all related topics in India
  • Accountable for the successful design and/or delivery of a significant portion of Total Reward solutions (strategies, frameworks, processes, procedures and policies for one or more Total Reward topics such as base pay, variable pay, equity plans & executive compensation or employee benefits, recognition, etc.) or with a significant geographical or broad area responsibility across all entities in India.
  • Research, evaluate and analyze internal and external trends, including benchmark, surveys and recent developments.

Long Description

  • Close collaboration with the HR Community, Senior Business leaders to effectively and efficiently supervise, direct and manage all efforts required for the design, implementation and/or continuous improvement of Total Reward solutions that drive employee engagement, optimize total rewards and support the achievement of strategic objectives and sustainable business results.
  • Lead the design, implementation, administration and legislative compliance of organization-wide total rewards strategies, policies and processes in alignment with the overall strategy and objectives
  • Develop/ manage total rewards programs in sync with the other HR policies and philosophy
  • Continuously assess market practices, trends, and regulatory environments related to compensation program design and delivery, and integrate these elements into the company’s total rewards philosophy.
  • Execute programs locally in alignment with Teva Total Rewards philosophy and approach, including Year-End Rewards process which includes Merit, Bonus, Promotions and Equity
  • Partner closely with internal (finance, procurement) and external (vendors, government officers) stakeholders to govern various programs such as medical, pension, car and more
  • Lead change management in various aspects which were recently introduced to managers
  • Designated focal point and subject matter expert to managers and HR community.

Qualifications

Skills & Qualification

  • Mastering the India C&B market, specifically the pharma sector, its unique environment, practices and future trends. The ability to understand how the market operates and combine it with the business needs
  • Excellent familiarity with global methodologies, processes and programs. Past experience working in global teams
  • Ability to run global and complex programs and process, working in partnership with many different stakeholders
  • Excellent Collaboration, influencing and interpersonal skills — the ability to develop effective working relationships with a diverse and global team and positively impact team’s performance
  • Strong quantitative analytic capabilities. Being able to understand the details but also look at the big picture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
