• We’re hiring Electrical Engineer in contract position for a leading MNC to join their growing team;
• This position is based out in Vadodara(Gujarat)( WFO).
  
  

• Responsible for electrical design for assigned projects.
• Responsible for producing all electrical design documents on a project.
• An electrical engineer supports the lead Electrical Engineer on the project and as the technical interface with AP project execution teams. The primary purpose is the delivery of a safe, fit for purpose electrical design to an agreed schedule and construction budget.
• Providing support to other AP engineering centres as workload requires.
• Accountable for the safety and engineering scope adherence in accordance with project specifications & standards.
• Implementation of quality procedures and contribute to continuous implementation of improvement activities.
• Generate documents like Single Line diagrams, Power layouts, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, tray layouts, cable schedules, JB Schedules, motor schematics, Hazardous area layouts, MTOs, Electrical room layouts etc.
• Specifying and purchasing key electrical equipment such as medium and low voltage switchgear and motor control centres, transformers, VFD’s; UPS systems, DC systems, etc. Responsibilities include writing purchase specifications, evaluating quotations, performing technical bid evaluations, vendor document review, and factory acceptance testing.
• Specifying large induction and synchronous motors and starting systems including reduced voltage autotransformers, reactor start, electronic soft-start/VFD, etc.
• Support to Machinery Package team to specify, interface and review electrical system for the package items.
  
  

• A Degree in electrical and work experience of around 7 to -10 years’ experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
• Experience working with review tools like Free View and SPR.
• Must be familiar with an engineering organization, the function of each discipline and how they interact and the function of the various support groups globally.
• Experience to Guide and Assist Designers to generate all electrical design deliverables like layouts (cable, power, lighting, earthing), schematics, E& I interface schedule, cable schedules, SLDs, MTOs, 3D modelling etc.
• Experience of producing interconnection diagram.
• Experience / Exposure of using global engineering standards
• Knowledge and experience of plant layouts and model review meetings
• Experience of interdepartmental coordination with various discipline like Piping, Civil and Instrumentations and capability to resolve issues.
• Knowledge of Lighting Design, Earthing & Lightning Protection, cable sizing and preparation of Cable schedule and Cable Interconnection Schedule is desirable
• Site experience/coordination with site team is a plus.
• Experience of working on NEC standard is desirable
