Position Title: Engineer - Safety Reporting to: Head-SHE

Functions to be supervised directly:SHE

Summary Of Work Environment And Work Performed

  • To work at Project locations
  • To prepare rules, procedures & enforce for Safe working conditions at Project site.
  • Analysis unsafe conditions & actions, addressing the issues.
  • Planning of Employee PPEs, Induction training & planning regular Safety trainings.
  • Managing PPEs inventory.
  • Addressing the Tools / Equipment safety issues & taking corrective actions.
  • Organizing Incident reporting, investigation & corrective actions.
  • Organizing the regular safety trainings .
  • Scheduling HIRA & addressing the hazards identified.
  • Preparation of Weekly activities report.
  • Regular review & compliance to all the applicable Legal requirements such as Petrolium act, NBC etc.
  • Review & preparation of Training contents for SHE trainings
  • Preparation of Monthly reports
  • Scheduling weekly safety meeting & closure of points discussed.
  • Issuing external & internal work permits.

Specific Duties

Planning & scheduling of HIRA, Safety Audit & SHE trainings

Personal protective equipment planning

Ensure compliance of all the Health & Safety Laws

Desired Outcome

To ensure Safe working conditions at project site with following all the stipulated Safety rules, regulations & procedures to ensure customer satisfaction related to Safe execution of work.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Experience

Education: DEE / DME / BE - Ele / Mech

Essential: - Diploma in Industrial Safety from any recognized university / Board

Desired: - Must be a Engineer with BE or Diploma
