Job title:Graphic Designer and Video Editor

Location: Salt lake, Sec- V

Terms: Full Time

CTC: ₹20k/ month

Experience:1 year +

About the role:As a Graphic designer you have to create visual communications such as adverts, branding, publicity materials and magazine layouts and utilise your graphic design skills to create media products such as magazines, labels, advertising and signage.

Responsibilities:

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll play a vital role in helping companies effectively communicate their work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
  • Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
  • Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
  • Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
  • Communicating with clients about layout and design.
  • Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop.
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a graphic designer and in e-commerce or in related fields.
  • Must have experience in video editing by using Premiere Pro.
  • Demonstrable graphic design and video editing skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, Corel Draw, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
  • Must have experience in social media posting
  • A strong eye for visual composition.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Experience with computer-aided design.

Specialized/ Preferred subject areas:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field/ Diploma course in graphic design
  • Minimum 2 years of e-commerce experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
