Milk Sales Head - Anik

Job purpose

Lead the Anik Commercial operations (Sales & Distribution, Supply Chain, Operational & Financial Hygiene etc.,) for Fresh Dairy Products and ensure Top Line & Bottom Line as per Business Plan.

Position:Milk Head - Sales

Location:Indore

Reporting: CEO Anik

Scope Geography: Central / North India and all geographies as defined under the scope of Anik.

Key Duties and Responsibilities/Missions

  • To make Annual Business Plans / Budgets / Forecasts for Sales Volumes and profitability.
  • Achievement of targets in terms of Sales Volume, Revenue, Profitability on a monthly/quarterly/yearly.
  • Close coordination with other departments such as Corporate marketing, trade marketing, Industrial, Supply chain etc ., for smooth operations and operational efficiencies.
  • Draw and implement a comprehensive regional sales policy : distribution development plan, category development plan, trade marketing activities to reach the regional targets .
  • Responsible for development of new distribution models like “Prabhat Distribution Centers” (PDC’s) and achieve the business objectives.
  • Lead & support the sales team : organization, recruitment, induction, team motivation, training and skills development, salaries, career development in order to ensure the performance of the sales team
  • Develop well defined succession plan within the team and provide a growth trajectory.
  • Ensure complete management of Companies assets (Crates, Visicoolers, Chillers, Deep Freezers , Shippers etc ., )
  • Develop complete understanding of the market construct, competition share, competition activities, sales prices, schemes, changing trends, innovations and all aspects of market intelligence required to safeguard and grow our business.
  • Ensuring customer relationship management with new & existing agent.
  • Manage Accounts receivables, Responsible for debt collection and resolve all long outstanding debts and issues.
  • To keep key a keen eye on the changing and emerging trends, work closely with R&D and industrial team to incubate ideas for new product development.
  • Desired Profile:

    1.Experience: 10 plus years of GT Fresh Products sales experience in Dairy Industry.

    2.Domain –GT /B2C Sales

    3.Qualification – Any Graduate prefer MBA

    4.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders & external partners.

    5.Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    6.Should have high integrity, focus on business improvement and innovation.

    • to plan, implement and manage initiatives in order to follow and implement the sales plan

    • to develop, analyse & interpret relevant data to produce and adapt effective sales reports

    • to collect and analyse information, data, trends etc. relating to customers in order to identify key drivers of their strategy

    Market and business expertise

    • to analyze facts, figures and trends on market environment (competitors, customers, category, environment) and business indicators in order to identify key drivers, to assess business performances and to make recommendation on strategy
