Job Description


Danfoss is looking for an Illustration Specialist to join our diverse team. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining illustrations and technical drawings used in different customer touch points supporting our customer journey delivering technical communication that win customers loyalty.

Job Responsibilities


  • The design, delivery, and maintenance of illustrations and technical drawings using common Danfoss methods, styles and procedures in compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Responsible for developing 2D and 3D animations and propose best ways of conveying the technical aspects working closely with subject matter experts.
  • Strong domain expertise in producing various digital assets such as infographics, GIFs, videos, animations etc.
  • Releasing illustrations and technical drawings to relevant repositories
  • TecCom workgroup team member for Illustrations
  • Acquiring product knowledge by consulting with experts, such as R&D designers, Product Managers, etc.
  • Working closely with Danfoss Drives developers and Product Management in Finland, Denmark, Germany, US, India and China.

Background & Skills


  • BS or BA degree (Engineering, Technical Communication, Marketing or English) or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a related field
  • Super user: Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Animate CC
  • Super user: 3D software (Maya, 3D Max, KeyShot)
  • Super user: Creo Parametricor similar CAD software
  • Experience: OpenShot or similar video editing tool
  • Experience: Vuforia Studio
  • Experience creating animations from CAD models
  • Experience developing AR/VR experiences
  • Experience editing videos
  • Experience with a content management system (CMS)
  • Excellent English communication skills, both in writing and verbally
