IT BUSINESS ANALYST

TE Connectivity’s IT Business Analysis Teams analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. They provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. They also configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing, create specifications for systems to meet business requirements and design details of automated systems. At times, TE’s IT Business Analysis Teams may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Accountable for providing detailed analysis about the performance of the Key Performance Indicators.
• Building and managing smarter solutions including predictive models using existing tools for better managing business processes
• The person is self-starter, motivated and works with less supervision and responsible for 360-degree global stakeholder management.
• Provide solutions to business pain points – Diagnostic, Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics

• Accountable for providing detailed analysis for set of Key Performance Indicators
• ETL expertise to work with cloud and on-prim datasets to connect directly and create datasets and features for analysis
• Designs and delivers core and ad hoc Analysis, along with first level interpretation to provide insights and support decision making by individuals, business group managers, and division leaders
• Proactively identifying root causes on KPI changes and provide analysis to management
• Generate and maintain business decision specific reports, dashboards and analytical solutions using multiple AI/BI tools, Business Objects, SAP, SQL Server, and other sources
• Design dashboards or analysis using Tableau, Power BI, R, Python to provide meaningful views to the business-critical information
• Communicate with multiple teams to gather information and provide management level summary
• Solve ad-hoc requirement of Management related to data for critical decision making
• Provide clarifications, training, and support to the development teams
• Integrate Predictive & Prescriptive Models (machine learning solutions) in visualization to perform the analysis
• Ability to think out of the box solution ideas for given business problems

Qualifications And Experience

• 4-6 Years experience in automotive/manufacturing industry preferred
• Master’s degree (preferably in Statistics / MBA) or B.Tech /B.E (preferably Computer Science)
• Experience in providing insights on Sales, Supply chain, Quality, Manufacturing data using Tableau/Power BI/Python
• Knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS), SQL queries
• Expert level proficiency in MS Office
• Prior experience in delivering in Project Management System (Waterfall/Agile)
• Good understanding of SCM and Quality Control processes
• Experience in handling large volumes of data, providing insights, spotting anomalies, identifying trends and complex relationships
• Programming and analytical experience in major analytics software packages (R or Python or SAS) is an added advantage
• Translates business question to analytical solutions and insights
• Expert understanding of Financial, Quality and Supply Chain terminologies and figures
• Strong skills in stakeholder management
• Fluent in English-written and spoken; additional knowledge of another language is an advantage
• Prior experience working in Agile way is a plus
• Always willing to experiment with new tools & technique to improve processes
