Job Purpose *

Actively acquire New-to-Bank Preferred clients & nurture existing Preferred base within the RM150k -

Key Responsibilities *

Sales Planning & Execution
1. To service Preferred customers base within RM150k to below RM250k
2. To actively acquire New-to-Bank (NTB) and New-to-Preferred (NTP) customers.
3. To promote Bank’s other products and services that management may deem relevant to be distributed to Preferred customers via sales & referrals.
4. To provide fast and convenient off-site banking services to NTB and NTP customers on:
a) New CASA & FD accounts opening and handling all non-cash transactions
b) To complement branch on running Preferred activities to increase membership, deposit and sales.
c) To be involved in Preferred customer acquisition programmes / events.
d) To lead and/or take part in all marketing activities.
e) To deliver sales pitch / presentations, with strong closing skills on Bank’s products and services
f) Comprehensive understanding of product features and benefits
Customer Relationship
1. To actively retain & nurture existing Preferred base by applying ’Farmer’ concept.
2. To establish and maintain relationship with Upper Mass Affluent customers and respond to queries and complaints in a timely manner.
3. To be able to deal with and manage High Net Worth individuals and sign them up as CIMB Preferred customers.
4. To provide advisory-based sales to NTB, NTP & ETP customers.
People Management
1. To actively retain & nurture existing Preferred base & by applying ’Farmer ’ concept.
2. To establish and maintain relationship with Upper Mass Affluent customers and respond to queries and complaints in a timely manner.
3. To be able to deal with and manage High Net Worth individuals and sign them up as CIMB Preferred customers.
4. To provide advisory-based sales to NTB and NTP customers.
Compliance
1. To comply and familiarise strictly to CIMB Bank’s policies and procedures, including credit control procedures, audit compliance and BNM guidelines as well as Code of Sales Ethics and Governance.
2. To respond to compliance enquiries from Vertical line (BM, RD, Head of DC) and Horizontal line (Segment Manager and Sales Segment Support Lead)
Others
1. To undertake special assignments/ad-hoc functions as when required.
