This position will also be responsible for the start-up and debug of machine tool equipment.Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide welding engineering support to productionDevelop and implement advanced welding processes includingLaser, MIG/TIG, Orbital and Braze.Provide innovative, technically significant and economically important material and welding solutions insupport of manufacturing and designAnalyze machine vision inspection results and adjust laser controller parametersPLC programming and troubleshootingNC programming and troubleshootingEducation & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science or equivalent is required OR equivalent work experiencePLC or CNC programming experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, or Fanuc 30i CNC knowledge preferred)Minimum 3 Years Engineering ExperienceKnowledge of electrical designLaser Welding Experience Is a MustAbility to read/interpret blueprintsGeneral RequirementsSelf-motivated and team playerExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong math skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Willing to work overtime as neededWilling to travel domestic and internationalAbility to secure and maintain a valid passport
