Work you’ll do

As a Cyber Cloud API Server/Backend Engineer, you will work with the engineering team based in India focused on cloud security posture management (CSPM) across public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud and Oracle). You will:

Provide technical expertise to enhance and scale Guardian for large deployments.
Guardian API server is built using Python Falcon API Rest Framework with SQLAlchemy backed by PostgreSQL database and runs as a Kubernetes application.

Provide excellent architecture, design, and implementation skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to quickly prototype functionality and implement
Able to proactively collaborate efficiently in a team-setting, across multi-geographic timezones

Qualifications Required

4+ years of backend server development experience
Proficient in Python development, testing, debugging and performance characterization
Ability to design highly available, horizontally scalable, secure REST services Develop new functionality, refactor existing APIs and write tests for all APIs
Lead with architecture and design for performance
Profile and optimize APIs to meet performance requirements
Implement caching, asynchronous tasks as necessary
Ability to write highly-performant code at the database and ORM layer

Experience writing programmatic interface to access one or more of the following public clouds using Python: GCP, AWS and Azure
Excellent software engineering hygiene: attention to quality, writing maintainable code, code reuse and continuous refactoring
Good English oral proficiency and good written (technical writing) ability

B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E. - Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, or Information Technology
