Role - Learning & Development Specialist

  • Your Life As a Maven:

    • Evaluate organizational learning and development needs along with L&D Lead and create a plan of action to address.
    • Execute learning strategies and programs (e.g. new hire onboarding, soft skills, compliance, status / role specific, etc.).
    • Research / deploy various learning methods companywide (coaching, online learning, short videos, instructor led training, LMS, etc) including designing and delivering e-learning courses, workshops and other training.
    • Collaborate with managers to create and execute talent development plans, monitor plan success and assist employees make the most of learning opportunities.
    • Support the HR team and assist as necessary with employee engagement and events, including recognition, team building and social activities, and participation in volunteer activities.
    • Create, modify and/or maintain documented Standard Operating Procedures and processes.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support functioning of the HR Department.

    Your Expertise:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Psychology, or relevant field, or an equivalent combination of work, training and experience.
    • 4+ years experience working in the L&D function in an IT organization.
    • Proven experience in training delivery and/or program management
    • Excellent analytical skills and experience in identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas, and implementing solutions.
    • Good reporting skills to be able to report on learning progress of all employees cutting across all levels.
    • Collaborative approach, able to work well with trainers, vendors, managers, and business stakeholders.
    • Proven organizational development skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and facilitate effectively to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines. Sight.
