WHAT YOU WILL DO

The HR Business Partner,will provide overall HR support for the India organization. The HRBP coaches the leader and his/her leadership team and provides expertise in the development & support of the organizational talent and diversity strategy, talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, compensation and rewards, and labor & employee relations issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR and executive coaching support to leaders in India. Create and drive the talent and diversity & inclusion strategy and initiatives for the assigned organization.
  • Support all talent management, organizational design and organizational alignment activities within client group(s). Lead client restructuring activities when necessary. Contribute to organizational change management activities when necessary.
  • Guide & Coach leaders and members of leadership team(s) to successfully manage all cyclical people management processes (talent management, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, etc.).
  • Provide learning strategies and solutions to support and enable talent strategy.
  • Provide leadership and project management to critical HR initiatives across all the regional & local divisions / Functions based in India as needed. Support create agile & enabling performance culture. Help Legal & Compliance team in investigations, if required.
  • Collaborate across the HR network and with other stakeholders across the organization to resolve escalated issues and generate solutions to enable client’s business strategy.
  • Provide Employee Relations advice and consult to managers on items such as performance management/improvement, issue/conflict resolution, policy, procedure, law and standards education
  • Provide Labor Relations advice and consult to managers and union officials including contract interpretation expertise to management, assisting management with investigating, answering and resolving grievances and providing labor relations support in preparation for and during contract negotiations.
  • Provide consultation on Compensation & Benefit strategy & execution, which may include job evaluation, job mapping, etc.
  • Ensure Compliances with various labour laws & filing of statutory returns, Manage labour court cases.
  • Represent the Company in various Indian industry / academic forums

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Full time MBA from premium institute
  • A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in an HR Business Partner with at least 2 years of HR management role
  • You have the successful track record as an advisor and counselor to business leaders and ability to influence employees at all levels.
  • You demonstrate leadership and prior experience directly managing employees at country level
  • You have the significant experience working in multi-national corporations and working within matrix organizations.
  • You are capable to translate the business strategy and see the human resources related implications.
  • Strong influencing skills and experience of working in complex stakeholder environments, ideally including with regional and global teams.
