Job Purpose (State in one sentence the overall objective of the job)
The Regulatory Operations Manager is responsible for driving productivity and accuracy relative to set strategies and objectives across the AGS regulatory operations team.
Major Accountabilities (Describe the main results of the job to be achieved)
  • Hands-on Regulatory Operations Team leader able to develop and inspire teams in executing objectives.
  • Ensures Team is sufficiently coached and cross-trained to allow flexibility and adaptation to changing demand.
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Submission Mgmt., Licensing, Notified Body Liaison and Labeling Heads) to ensure output matches the business need.
  • Assist in local administrative and coordination activities as needed.
In this role, the Manager of Regulatory Operations will split their time between leading the team (~66% of the time) and actually performing Regulatory Operation activities (e.g., publishing, labeling translation coordination, licensing, etc.).
Other requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in scientific area. Post graduate degree a plus.
Experience requirement:
  • 5 Years of relevant regulatory affairs work experience in medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • 2 Years as people manager (having full-time direct reports)
Languages:
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Timings
Willing to work US PST/CST time zones.
Travel
Able to travel to USA up to 10% of time.
