ServiceNow Manager – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

The GTS GDAS ServiceNow team provides ServiceNow technology support to Deloitte Global and Member Firms’.
This role is for a ServiceNow Manager. Manager is an integral part of the team and primarily responsible for building and delivering the enterprise IT solutions. This position provides opportunity to lead and manage projects and programs. Focus on managing significant strategic and operational aspect of projects and programs, including communications with leadership, leading multifunctional teams, project scoping, scheduling, quality and adherence to Deloitte standards.
We are looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented leader with heart-deep commitment to success of the team. This role requires good understanding of ServiceNow knowledge along with great stakeholder relationship management. Also responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of a group of employees, assigning work and meeting completion dates.

Delivery/ Operations/ Architecture

• Ensuring on-time delivery of projects through thorough knowledge of the ServiceNow SDLC, adherence to best practices and standards, team motivation and Client Service excellence.
• Providing technical and architectural leadership in ServiceNow modules.
• Creating project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Leading technical design sessions with the development teams and detailed design specifications to ensuring that architecture standards are followed.
• Providing expert knowledge of ServiceNow modules to business and technology teams and facilitate the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices.
• Providing support / guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes.
• Improving processes to ensure alignment between the business strategies and application technology roadmap.
• Reviewing and approving 3rd party and integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy.
• Communicating implications of architectural decisions, issues and plans to business and IT Leadership.
• Defining and validating non-functional requirements and establishing traceability between requirements and application architecture/design.
• Participating, and technically leading when needed, production troubleshooting and ’War Room’ Activities.
• Seeking and capitalizing on the opportunities to improve productivity, improving solutions quality, and improving cost effectiveness.
• Anticipating barriers to change and creating opportunities to remove them

People Development

• Leading development and implementation.
• Career planning and management of team members.
• Recruit and mentor team members.
• Instilling a culture of execution, operational excellence, and accountability.
• Mentoring technical leads and developers.
• Creating a culture that is based on knowledge sharing and learning from best practices.

Relationship Management/ Advisory

• Advising and consulting leadership on technology costs, benefits, and implementation requirements.
• Working with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, needs, and strategies to anticipate future business / technology needs
• Working closely with Infrastructure teams on defining the deployment architecture.
• Providing input to the development of project initiation documents including objectives, scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables, when needed.
• Staying abreast of ServiceNow technology trends and providing guidance to the team.
• Exhibiting high level of professional flexibility and volunteering innovation and new ideas.

Qualifications

• Education qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
• 10+ years of IT experience in application development, support or maintenance activities
• 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow
• 4+ years of experience in project management
• 4+ years of team management experience
• 2+ years of experiencing in Agile / scrum methodology
• Must have experience on at least 2 full life cycle of software development
• Client facing and exposure to onshore offshore delivery model
• Experience in working in a global environment involving multiple development sites on various time zones.
