This position is responsible to provide support for planning, developing and implementing the company’s content strategy to increase Eaton’s brand awareness. Includes responsibility for secondary market research projects that support product line marketing strategy inputs.

This exciting role offers opportunity to:

1) Social Media Marketing & Promotional Campaigns

  • Work with Business Leaders & Marcom Team to ideate, chart out and execute a social media & content marketing roadmap for the country.
  • Create content for social media campaigns, drive conversations internally and nurture a community of employee advocates to build organic reach.
  • Own the social media calendar from content sourcing to publishing cadence across the various platforms.
  • Leverage analytical tools to track, analyze, and provide insights to optimize the social media strategy to

improve content decisions and enhance engagement.

2) Content Development

  • Conduct periodic asset audits and create a keep / kill / enhance checklist, and develop a calendar for content generation and monitor progress.
  • Create content such as success stories, Brochures, Whitepapers, Listicles, Infographics, etc. that can enhance visibility for the organization.
  • Position Eaton as a thought leader by working with Business Leaders to develop content & layout a story for tradeshow / conference presentations.
  • Develop sales training decks / sales guides, customer pitch presentations, etc. to facilitate sales enablement.
  • Periodic benchmarking of content strategies of key competitors to identify gaps in Eaton’s approach

3) Market Intelligence:

  • Periodic analysis of the competitive landscape (financials, strategy, product launches, etc.) and market developments (industry trends, market drivers, etc.)
  • Create & run surveys (customers, distributors, partners) and leverage analytics to provide meaningful insights that could identify unmet needs and guide potential change in strategy.

4) Marketing Operations:

  • Assist the Leadership Team in the development and implementation of a clearly defined marketing plan and growth strategy for the individual businesses / country.
  • Interface and manage relationships with 3rd party agencies & partners to achieve overall business and marketing goals.
  • Identify appropriate sources to promote blogs / listicles / management interviews etc. with a view to drive customer awareness.

Qualifications

  • MBA / higher degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing domain, with at-least 2 years in marketing communications, journalism or related discipline creation and production of online and offline marketing content and online community building.
  • Experience in creating various types of direct copywriting such as whitepapers, infographics, guides, blogs, etc.
  • Experience in producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge including Eaton’s website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Expertise on social media analytics, understand the nuances, advantages, and shortcomings of each platform, and know how to utilize data in formulating a campaign strategy.
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders
    Strong demonstration of research skills and business acumen.
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and be proactive & independent in a dynamic environment.
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
  • Creative and out-of-the-box thinking and solution development.
  • Strategic and Critical approach towards solving problems and decision making.
  • Results-oriented; proven ability to prioritize, drive and achieve results through self and others under time pressure.
  • Strong demonstration of ability to effectively work collaboratively with designers, product marketing, sales, and the leadership team.
