In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Operations Manager in managing our marketing database and technology to ensure the effective execution and delivery of campaigns across multiple channels that are designed to both drive demand and marketing qualified leads. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, the Marketing Operations Specialist is a role with high visibility across Sales and Marketing, supporting lead generation quality and effectiveness.At Protegrity, our regional Field Marketing Managers are responsible for generating demand in the countries they are assigned. This person will directly support the Campaign Manager and Field Marketing team to support Marketo needs and ensure processes are in place for multi-channel campaigns to ultimately drive new leads and opportunities.If you have a passion for data, process and automation, and analyzing and improving conversion rates, this is a perfect opportunity.Responsibilities
  • Work with the Marketing Operations Manager to support various business unit requests, providing exemplary service to internal customers such as sales, marketing program managers and executives
  • Support management of Marketing Ops day to day functions to support data hygiene and overall efficiency and effectiveness goals
  • Assist with lead lifecycle model optimizations and database segmentations to increase campaign efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work with sales operations team to assist with implementation of new tools, fields, processes, etc. to ensure they correctly function in our technology stack
  • Support Campaign Manager and Global Field Marketers in execution of Marketo Programs
  • Ensure marketing best practices and Marketo defined processes are in place to maintain integrity of Marketo and CRM data
  • Troubleshoot and QA programs, workflows, data issues and other key marketing ops functions and technologies
  • Document and communicate best practices and defined processes
  • Proactively evaluate and recommend process efficiencies
  • Support marketing team with report building leveraging Marketo and other tools to answer critical questions about campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Manage and own list upload process working with data vendor, campaign manager and field marketers to ensure process requirements are in place and process executes flawlessly
  • Manage calendar of marketing tool renewal dates, informing Marketing Operations Manager and tool owner of upcoming dates
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing or related field
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in a marketing operations or marketing specialist role in a B2B focused company
  • 3-5+ years’ experience with Marketo and marketing automation responsibilities
  • 3+ years marketing experience using Salesforce.com
  • Strong knowledge of marketing, digital marketing and marketing operations best practices and motivated to continue professional development in these areas
  • Strong technical understanding of marketing technology and integrations
  • Strong understanding of marketing attribution throughout the customer journey
  • Process and quality orientation with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence and lead management processes
  • Innovative, motivated and highly organized and accountable
  • Must be an effective communicator (written and verbal)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities and deadline-oriented
  • Self-starter who enjoys "figuring things out;” a creative thinker and problem solver
  • Data-driven approach and highly analytical. Focused on results
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel (i.e., you can split columns, perform v-lookups, and create pivot tables)
  • 3+ years direct Marketo experience and responsibilities required
  • Marketo Certified Expert. MCA or MCE required
  • 3+ years direct CRM experience, specifically with Salesforce required
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager required
  • Preferred experience with PowerBI required
  • Working knowledge of HTML & CSS preferred
  • Exceptional analytical and reporting skills required
