Hiring For Pharmacy Aide In Pharmacy Department - KIMS Hospitals , Secunderabad

Role & Responsibilities


  • Before making any issue check for a system material requisition from sub- stores and wards.
  • Go through the indent and find the items are available or not. If items are available take out from racks and issue a GIN in a computer.
  • After computer GIN is made the issuer must call the concerned substores to verify the whether the system issue and physical issue are tallying or not. If they do not find any error handover the stock along with one signed GIN copy.
  • If the issue person finds the stock is not available, he must inform to the Incharge.
  • If any item is required in emergency which the stock is not available in
  • stores he should check whether it is available in substores, if available he has to co-ordinate with them and provide the same.
  • Process Incharge given a list of not available items to the Assistant manager if the item is indented he has to followup with the purchase dept. if it is not indented raise a purchase indent and followup for the item.
  • As soon as the item receives, he should inform to the concern department and issue the same.

Stock Arrangement:


  • Stock arrangement will be differentiated into Medical and surgical.
  • In medical Categorywise (like tabs, caps, inj, powders, syrups) seperated and alphabeticalwise the items are arranged to findout easily
  • Surgicals are also arranged according to the alphabetical wise.
  • Store items least expiry first and long expiry back.
  • Narcotic drugs are stored seperately in lock & key
  • According to the specification of the label, items are arranged at room temperature 25 deg and 2-8 deg in a cold room.

Stock verification:

  • Each person will be allotted racks for stock checking.
  • Stock statement will be taken from system and physical verification to be made. If any discrepancies found the report to be handover to issues incharge.
  • Based on movement of the item and Physical stock verification short expiry and non-moving items are taken out from racks.
  • Near expiry will considered as before 3 months of expiry and non-moving 6 months.
