UPL is looking to hire Process Engineer in Dahej , Gujarat, India.

PURPOSE:

This position is meant to serve the purpose of being the front line of the Process Engineering activities to ensure that Process Engineering and design work is done with rigour and made error free. Would be working in project for next 4-6 months period and then get merged with the operations team in Unit 12 with expansion.

Relevant Experience:

  • 8 -9 years of overall experience

Knowledge:

  • R&D Bench scale experimentation, Scale up studies, Pilot Trials

Education:

B.E/B. Tech - Chemical

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Process development and Basic Engineering , Create and develop basic engineering package content like PID’s MEB’s PFD’s
  • Analyse and examine results from R and D to ensure data sufficiency , Recommend special equipment and changes to the process to improve the process
  • Perform sizing estimates and calculations using simulation tools
  • Work with R and D during process optimisation and scale up for process development
  • Provide assistance to commissioning teams during final plant start-up for troubleshooting and debugging
  • Develop custom tools to use for engineering applications.
