ResponsibilitiesSpecifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standardsAs a Reservations Executive, you will have to manage the Reservations processes and procedures in order to maximise revenue and Guest satisfaction. The Reservations Executive will develop future and create repeat business opportunities.Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codesCommunicate company values and/or culture to new employeesReview and implement new Reservations proceduresProcess all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mailIdentify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room typeVerify availability of room type and rateExplain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callersAccommodate and document special requestsAnswer Questions About Property Facilities/services And Room AccommodationsFollow sales techniques to maximize revenueInput and access data in reservation systemRespond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requestsSet-up proper billing accounts according to Accounting policiesTroubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues and concerns or escalate/refer to appropriate individualAssist management in training, scheduling, counseling, and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy processFollow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assetsWelcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciationSpeak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquetteDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with othersComply with quality assurance expectations and standardsThis job is provided by Shine.com
