Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Structure a compliance department involving areas of responsibility—identification, prevention, monitoring and detection, resolution, and advisory.
  • Accountable for ensuring all the essential guidelines are put in proper place accurately adhering to industry rules and regulations.
  • Structure the Business Continuity Plan / Disaster Recovery across all departments ,verticals ,operations processes etc...
  • Perform as Business Continuity Coordinators (BCC) responsible for the development and maintenance of business continuity plans.
  • Work closely with critical business units to understand their processes, identify risks, and provide solutions to help manage and minimize various types of Risks involving ( People ,Process ,Financial ,Regulatory ,Client etc..)
  • Risk & Compliance Manager must communicate, manage, and control activities associated with damage assessments and the recovery of critical business functions.
  • The Manager, in conjunction with the Incident SPOC’s, must be tasked with activating and coordinating organization elements in accordance with an incident action plan. By working with the appropriate business unit leaders assigned to business continuity/recovery plans, provide guidance for compliance with Incident Action Plan (IAP) components.
  • Establish effective & efficient BCP levels and RTO (Recovery Time Objective) with client & stakeholders .
  • Involved in risk management which involves identification, analysis, planning, monitoring, reporting, and controlling risks. The risk compliance manager should thoroughly adopt steps and should be able to drive implementation.
  • Ability to assess risk and interpret them properly, having fundamental knowledge about rules and regulations must be defined clearly.
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure that compliance procedures are regularly followed.
  • Conduct environmental audits adhering to environmental standards.
  • Compliance risk manager role involves the HSE of employees and businesses as well.
  • To ensure that all the employees are thoroughly updated about the organization’s policies, regulations, and processes regards to Risk & Compliance.
  • Recommend and advise the management regarding the implementation of compliance programs
  • Revise rules, reports, and procedures at regular intervals to recognize the risks & proposed solutions.
  • Irrespective of domain and job role having excellent written and verbal communication skills are indeed very much essential. The risk compliance manager should be capable to communicate across all levels.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge about security policies such as ISO standards, controls, regulations, monitoring, evaluation, review, and report associated with auditing.
