Your Role and Responsibilities
Roles :-
Senior application Security Engineer/developer to work on today’s evolving offensive and defensive measures in the application security field. This individual will be responsible for helping to improve the application security program and will be a champion for AppSec initiatives and establishing secure coding practices. Candidate get opportunity to work with development, security and compliance of IBM offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Identify security issues; perform code reviews (manual and SAST, DAST and IAST code audits)
• Perform security functional testing as needed and validate pen-test findings
• Develop automation and processes to identify security flaws in code
• Help maintain engineering infrastructure systems used by the application security team
• Aspire to learn and become SME for secure coding practices, code scan, DevSecOps, penetration testing and product security
• Perform any other application security or product security architecture related activities and tasks as needed or directed
• Perform manual code reviews
• Maintain the Security standards and provide guidelines to developers for secure coding practice

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience: 6+ yrs in field, Cyber Security, or equivalent work experience as a software engineering or security practitioner.
• Ability to perform security code review for Python, Go, Node, Java languages
• Static, dynamic & vulnerability tools experience
• DevSecOps automation
• Compliance knowledge - PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA & LGPD
• Penetration testing skills
• Good communication and written skills
• Ability to learn the new technologies, security tools, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong exposure to popular application security standards including OWASP TOP 10 and API Security
• Any industry recognized security certification is preferred (CompTIA S+, CEH, OSCP etc)
