Job Title:EUC Engineer

This technical role will support software deployment and management systems across all business units. The EUC Shared services serve over 25000 users across America, Europe,Australia and Asia and are considered critical to day-to-day business operations.
This candidate will offer a minimum of 7 years experience in supporting SCCM as well as an understanding of Windows maintenance and troubleshooting. They should also be open to the opportunity of working with other products beyond the ones listed. The role will involve primarily working on Windows OS platforms, some Windows based clients, and Windows Server infrastructure. It also requires providing solutions to technical issues, and being responsible for ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and business requirements.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
Required Knowledge
Essential skills required for the position for all levels:
  • Minimum 7 years experience as SCCM System Administrator
  • Windows PowerShell/VbScript; strong focus on automation
  • Active Directory and AD Group Policy management experience
  • Advanced experience in Implementing and Managing Windows server 2012 /2016.
  • Perform standard System Center administration duties including design, deployment, monitoring, and diagnostic of SCCM
  • Planning, Implementing and administration of windows 10 migration - SCCM
  • Experience in designing and implementation of MDT and SCCM based Image Capture & Deployment for windows 10.
  • Administration of SCCM Servers, SCCM Distribution Points and Database (SQL Servers)
  • Experience in Implementing and managing the Virtual environment, AWS Workspaces,
  • Experience in packaging software for deployment using SCCM
  • Setup proactive monitoring alerts for suitable remediation in a timely manner
  • Set up processes and execute integrations with tools including ServiceNow
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to laptops, desktops
  • Working knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VLANs, firewalls and load-balancing
  • Solid understanding of application and systems performance troubleshooting/monitoring
  • Delivery of ConfigMgr solutions to a high standard to over 5000 clients
  • Managing WSUS and Patching of Workstations
  • System Centre Endpoint Protection Configuration and Monitoring, Reporting
  • Microsoft Endpoint Protection administration or other product
  • MBAM Bitlocker

Additional Knowledge or Experience
You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • Windows PowerShell/VbScript; strong focus on automation
  • Good understanding of Workplace services (critical skills of SCCM, Windows OS, End-Point Security)
  • Expert in end-to-end monitoring and analytics services
  • Prior experience in scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, batch etc...):
  • SCCM/Software Deployment Skills
  • Strong understanding of ITIL
  • SCCM Migration experience and Windows 10 upgrade
  • Experience working on SQL
  • Deployment to AWS Workspaces (VDI)
  • Multi-forest Active Directory
  • VMware vSphere & vCenter for virtual server support
  • Previous experience with Service Now, JIRA, or similar ITSM tools

  • Provide technical guidance to members of the Site Support and Service desk teams when appropriate
  • Work with the other teams to assist with specification of solutions, technical input around ConfigMgr, testing and writing papers on implementation best practice and optimization
  • Assisting the Practice Lead on development of best practice and processes. Learning to design and implement the software solutions

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to work on rotational shifts to cover off-shift production changes and pre-planned project tasks
  • Ability to be on-call and respond within minutes for major incidents
