Roles and Responsibilities


  • Final Inspection of Critical Machined Components, Structures for Presses, Tube Bending Machine Bodies, SPD Structures at vendor. Focus on first time right inspection.
  • Tack weld, Full weld insp. of fabricated structures.
  • Stage wise- in process inspection for critical components whenever reqd.
  • Interaction with vendor & vendor Engineers regarding quality issues in Components & resolving it by taking corrective actions on it.
  • Assurance of Quality for Critical Components through stage wise Inspection at vendor end.
  • Prepare Inspection Report for inspected components & ensure that it will be recd. along with challan at inward.
  • Calculate Quality rating of vendors & inform them about their Quality performance. Make MOM / action plan with poor rated suppliers.
  • Responsible for Quality of Components at vendor end.
  • Responsible for on time Final Inspection of Components at vendor end.

    • Desired Candidate Profile

    • Measurement by CMM
    • NDT (UT, DP, MPI, RT knowledge) / Certified for level II
    • Certified welding inspector
    • Internal auditor of ISO 9001:2015
    • WPS/PQR/WPQ documents knowledge as per ASME sec. IX.
    • Knowledge of various IS/ISO/ASTM/BS standards & follow of requirements during routine work.
