Overview: Client is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer who is highly analytical and able to use their
advanced skills to enhance the Network Design and Engineering team’s primary objective in crafting
resilient, sophisticated, modern, and cost-effective network solutions that serve Client’s critical
businesses and customers. All network solutions are tested and documented prior to deployment and
support by Client partners. Collaborative and customer centric skills are critical in continuing the
Network Design and Engineering team’s trusted advisor brand, for the benefit of Client’s customers and
supporting business units.
This is an exciting role in a challenging and fast-paced environment that requires business-customer
partnership skills, business & technical acumen, and the ability to effectively execute tasks on projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, test, and document Enterprise networks that leverage dimensional architectures and

principles to deliver solutions that meet business requirements. Vendors in common use are
Cisco and Palo Alto

• Good knowledge with Azure public cloud networking constructs
• Experience interpreting analytical tools as an aid for enhancing network designs

Provide as-required after-hours network escalation support in a last-tier capacity

• Analyze complex environments, develop, and evangelize solutions that meet diverse

requirements

• Provide strong customer service and facilitate collaboration between project teams and IT

partners

• Mentor technical staff and co-workers, growing the team’s talent depth
• Work closely with other technology teams and delivery partners to ensure the network is well

designed and executed in a holistic manner

• Attend planning meetings and work closely with application development teams and senior

level leaders.

• Work closely with different internal and external teams to troubleshoot issues and help them

find a solution or design a suitable technical solution

• Serve as subject matter expert within the team and apply specialized knowledge to support

the organization’s vision and direction

• Knowledge of Azure AD, Azure ADDS, etc. is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree /or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• 10+ years’ experience of professional experience in related IT field.
• 7+ years’ experience in Azure network, other IT, and/or technical network management
• 3+ years’ experience in Palo Alto network
• CCNA or higher-level certifications
• Advanced experience architecting and troubleshooting complex networks
• Expert level experience on Azure monitoring tools such as Azure monitor, log analytics, smart

alerts, application insights, and dashboards/workbooks

• Familiar with other Azure management tools and frameworks in areas such as security,

automation, and scripting

• Familiar with and experience engineering and deploying industry recognized top APM,

logging and Infrastructure monitoring tools

• Experience with Microsoft server stack environments including Windows, IIS, and SQL
• Production experience with Azure public cloud at scale, both IaaS and PaaS
• Knowledge of KPI’s, metrics, alerting, logging and time series data
• Familiar with ITIL methodology
• Strong knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP protocols
• Familiarity with networking concepts including VPN, DNS, IP addressing, Routing (such as BGP

or OSPF), load balancing, CDN, etc.

• Understanding of the OSI model and related concepts
• Troubleshooting at the expert level within large Network Environments
• Notions of Private, Hybrid and Public Cloud
• Notions of Virtualization of SDN technologies
• Familiarity with networking tools including ping, tracert, Netmon, WireShark, nmap, etc.
• Familiarity with Linux shell environments, scripting, and administration
• Windows System Administration/Virtualization
• Windows scripting or PowerShell
• Understand human behavior and how employees, customers and business partners will likely

react in a crisis.

• Experience in deeply detailed and complex planning, designing of network systems and

supporting technologies.

• Automation and scripting knowledge and application of these technologies to a software

defined network

• Strong management skills planning, organizing, leading, and measuring service driven teams
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills to build/ maintain ongoing business

relationships

• Ability to exercise and mentor others on good professional judgment and security-related

ethics

• Ensuring team delivers an always on, always available mindset commensurate with a global

corporate

• Experience in financial management required to support a global network, vended expenses,

and 3rd party partnerships.

• Strong technical aptitude and experience with a wide variety of technologies
• Ability to rapidly learn and if required evaluate a new tools or technology
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Demonstrated technical innovative leadership experience
• Must have a strong customer and quality focus
• Have been successful in working across organizational boundaries, bringing together people

with diverse perspectives and experience to find solutions to complex technical issues

Contract length: 1-6 months

Expected Start Date: 28/6/2021

Salary: ₹1,000.00 - ₹1,500.00 per hour
