This job requires you to be strongly technically inclined and well aware of the latest developments in Cloud and preferably Big Data,
and interface with other cross-functional teams (End users, UX Team, Product Owners).
At high level the work will involve managing an application, which includes but may not be limited to the following:
1. Build a lead a high performing engineering team in the development and operations of major features.
2. Responsible to hire engineers in a competitive environment. Proven ability to motivate, align and manage high performing and empowered developers.
3. Work closely with senior management and architects, Product Owners and SRE teams for architecting, designing and developing several modules of DMAT recon.
4. Continue to take the service to next level to build scalability, extensibility and be operationally successful.
5. Provide valuable input to technology strategy, infrastructure and architecture vision that supports the successful execution of the product roadmap and business strategy.
6. Allocate resources, set priorities and manage schedules for the team
7. Regularly present development progress and service health statistics to upper management.
8. Provide career management and mentorship to your team of engineers.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 12 years experience in developing web applications (referably have exposure in Cloud and also Big Data stack of technologies (Spark, Hive, Hbase))
2. 4+ years of experience of managing teams
3. Strong technical understanding in building scalable, high performance distributed services/systems.
4. Experience working with Cloud Native Applications and developing REST API models.
5. Strong programming skills in Java and also preferably have knowledge of Scala.
6. Prefer hands-on in Java, Big Data and Cloud.

7. Knowledge of UI technologies (Angular/React)
8. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts
clearly to different audiences
