In a nutshell

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our global buying Team. Loylogic works in marketplace model and this person will source key brands through merchants and incentive houses across multiple product categories local to the European market.

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for selecting best-selling products, and developing relationships with key sourcing partners and brands. The person will have experience across various categories and a proven track record of negotiating best prices and adding commercial value to the business.

What You Will Do

• You will be responsible for sourcing in the EU Region
• You will source brands and deals against the delivered brief and client’s demographics
• You will define & execute a strategic product selection plan for each category which will drive sales and profit through best seller selection, pricing initiatives, purchasing and logistics opportunities
• You will maintain strategic relationships with the supply base in the EU Region.
• You will manage product negotiations
• You will create category specific detail for promotional planning
• You will analyse sales & margin performance versus targets, & formulate action plans on any underperformances
• You will continuously rationalize catalogue to bring new products and retire old ones
• You will work with the client teams to deliver requested sourcing briefs from time-to-time
• You will manage client expectations on local brands and categories and delivery within the requested timelines
• You will proactively develop local sourcing calendar based on key events and dates for your respective markets
• You will identify opportunities of sales, promotions through sellers and brands
• You will have the knowhow of the latest trends on products in your categories to keep the catalog up-to-date
  

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years relevant Sourcing/Buying experience with brands, distributors and incentive houses
• Wide category experience specially Electronics, Gift Cards, Home & Garden, Luggage , Fashion Accessories, Digital Subscriptions, etc.
• Influencing skills with a customer focus, ability to maintain relationships with the large business partners
• The ability to work with cross-functional, global teams
• Experience in an ecommerce environment is a MUST
• You are a highly commercial trend-hunter, driving catalogues by must haves
• You like to work in a dynamic environment.
