1.1 _ Job Title:

Purpose

Actively contribute towards new Product Development for Advanced Operations - Instruments. Interfaces with divisional counterparts in US and elsewhere to define project timelines and establish a good tracking mechanism. Interface with Product Design, Materials, Sterility, Regulatory, Marketing, Quality and Suppliers to establish correct PPAP requirements for product design and development. Work with divisional counterparts to establish the communication plan with different departments, follow-up with stakeholders to complete the project within timelines, resolve any pending issues.

1.2 _ Reports to: Manager – Advanced Operations

1.3 _ Roles and Responsibilities

  • To contribute in the role of an Advanced Operation Engineer for Advanced Operations in the PPAP activities in manufacturing process engineering domain to develop New Products
  • Work closely with manufacturing locations in development & review of PPAP for new products / line extensions. To prepare of Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (pFMEA) & Control Plans for new products / line extensions. Prepare inspection plans and facilitate qualification of inspection methods. Review and qualification of manufacturing process.
  • Candidate should have Project Management experience in managing manufacturing process development for New Product.
  • Candidate will be expected to mentor team member in project deliverables.

    Skills Sets:
  • Proficient in interpretation of drawing with GD&T
  • Proficient in PPAP
  • Proficient in preparing Process Flow Maps, pFMEA & Control Plans
  • Hands on experience of setting up manufacturing process (preferable Machining & Welding) for new product launched and line extensions
  • Hands on experience of setting up inspection methods for new product launched and line extensions
  • Expertise and hands on experience of Statistical Process Control techniques & Measurement System Analysis

1.4 _ Desired Profile

Education: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/MS. - Mechanical Engineering

Experience:7 -10 years.

Personality:Open Minded, Team player, Responsive, Detail Oriented

Specific Job Skills: The successful applicant should have an excellent mechanical engineering background, good attention to detail, be self-motivated and effective in a team environment under a high work load with multiple responsibilities
