Position Summary:
This position is within Harman Automotive Division. In this position you will be responsible for ADAS feature to be delivered for a customer program. The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, knowledge of engineering discipline, and experience in vision related ADAS functions.

Job Responsibilities:
As ADAS feature software architect you will design, evaluate and align different software architectural solutions - be our key driver towards excellent software solutions of our SV product
You are one of our software craftsmen and live clean code and clean architecture
Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and requirements for software
Oversee and support the coaching and training of team members to ensure all necessary employees are confident in all activities related to SW architecture/development
Support in establishing and improving model based system and SW development, including automatic code generation
Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually researching best practices in SW architecture, SW development and coding
Troubleshoot problems on coding/design/architectural level quickly and efficiently
Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to modeling and coding standards
Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
Creation, adaptation and maintenance of software architecture release in a regular manner according to the overall architecture design process
Elicitate, write and adapt software architecture requirements
Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
You derive requirements and architectural solutions from the functional safety analysis and concept, SOTIF and cyber security
Align with other architects across all our product platforms to identify commonality or potential optimization and synergies
Participate and drive solutions in a dynamic and highly demanding environment
Stay up to date with current trends and technologies

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineer/Computer Science
10+ years of experience in C C++ and embedded systems
Extensive knowledge and experience in model-based system engineering using SysML/UML as well as IDL, and Enterprise Architect
Strong in RTOS skills (Linux/QNX/Android/OSEK) and proficient in real time multi threaded software design and development
Experience in AUTOSAR software, architecture and methodology
Experience with requirement management tools e.g. Doors, DNG
Experience working on large-scale software projects
Familiar with Agile development methodologies like pair programming and test driven development
Deep knowledge of embedded device constraints and how to root cause or debug issues through the entire SW development life cycle
Experience in system performance optimization
Experience in clean code and clean architecture as well as refactoring
Self motivated, result driven individual, must be passionate about the work
Excellent people skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders from students to experienced engineers up to senior management
Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form. Demonstrate high levels of technical expertise, ingenuity and creativity. You will be required to develop and apply advanced technologies, engineering principles, theories and concepts, and have broad knowledge about the design and operation of systems outside of your specialty.
