System Administrator - BN2093

What You’ll Do

• Maintaining corporate Systems & Network infrastructure including the Windows Activate Directory Services, and Cisco L3 & L2 switches with Fortinet firewall.
• Hands-on experiences in Active Directory Services management and troubleshooting, DHCP, DNS services, VMware, Radius Server, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Should have sound knowledge in Windows and Linux Servers administration, management, and troubleshooting
• Should have knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google cloud)
• Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks
• Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues
• Creating a backup and safeguarding the data if there are any hindrances
• Working knowledge of network features and protocols
• Should understand the Network security requirements and implementation of the best practices
• Knowledge of Carrier Services – WAN Circuits, MPLS, VPNS, Point-to-point
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Performing system upgrades following new releases
• Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security
• Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems; and
• Ensuring high-level security and efficiency resulting in 100% output.
• Research and make recommendations on network and server infrastructure

What You Know

• Proven experience in a Systems and network administrator role
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of related experience
• Hands-on experience in maintaining enterprise-class Systems, Network and Security infrastructure
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls and Firewall Analysers
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware
• Ability to provide the support for end user issues (laptop/desktop related issues)
• Convenient to provide on-call support during off-business hours
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
• Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Must be a self-starter, willing to learn, and demonstrate independent initiative in a fast-paced operational environment

Education

• Should be Beholder Degree in Computer Science
• Related Certifications (MCSC, CCNA)
