The Electrification team leader will be responsible for building and leading a team working on various as aspects of product development involving Electrification of existing products of CNHi. Position is part of larger EE team at ITC and requires close collaboration with local/global peers, local and global leaders to deliver value output. Nature of work shall predominantly require skills in Power Electronics, electrical machines, battery management and controls.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • The position will be responsible to partner with respective global operating groups to co-create, lead and implement the technology & Engineering roadmap to move CNHi ahead of competition.

Find ways to create, grow and sustain a strategic relationship with global operating groups.

  • Play a key role, working with global operating groups, to ensure talent and technical capabilities are aligned to execute current and future needs. Hiring the right talent for next level leadership roles as well as the engineers to complete the team structure in India.
  • Drive the deployment of CNHi standardized engineering practices across the team, ensuring effective project and resource prioritization and allocation of resources. Evolve appropriate metrics for team accountability and delivery. Responsible for delivering projects on time, within costs targets, and meeting the customer functional specifications
  • Ongoing identification of recruiting, mentoring and development of the engineering talent capable of becoming the technical or management leaders of the future.
  • Support and demonstrate a positive and collaborative approach in working with internal and external colleagues.
  • Partner with external resources such as universities, suppliers and associations as needed to close competency and/or infrastructure gaps.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 15 years overall experience
  • A minimum of 3 years specific experience leading teams in Engineering & technology function
  • Hands on experience doing design and development of hybrid or Electrical powertrain with involvement in designing/selection, sizing, qualification of power electronics, electrical machine, Energy storage systems etc.
  • Experience working closely with partners t develop and validate required systems/sub-systems for hybrid/Electric
  • Prferably experience on doing electricfication for agriculture machinery and/or Construction equipments; including for non traction requirements of electrification.
  • Experience working with global teams and as part of large virtual teams.
  • Ability to influence and build relations
