Elevate is recruiting a Technical Operations Engineer to join our Information Technology team.

Specifically You Will...

  • Manage effectively the resolution support issues that are reported to the Technical Operations Center in an efficient manner.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing expertise to both team members and clients.
  • Diagnose and solve user concerns with the first-hand resolution for hardware and software problems through various troubleshooting techniques.
  • Act as an escalation point for 2nd Level end-user tickets.
  • Perform configuration and troubleshooting of Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, VPN Clients, Group Policy, Folder Permissions, Firewalls, Printer on Terminal, Printer Servers, Office 365, and workstation network connectivity issues.
  • Ability to deliver excellence to clients, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work well, both independently and in a group setting.
  • Very strong customer service skills and passion for creating an unmatched customer service experience.

  • Exceptional communication skills (oral/written), as well as strong organization/administrative abilities)

Technical Skills

  • Aptitude to provide hands-on experience with the following technologies: Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, Firewalls, VMWare, Office 365, Microsoft Office Application, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation and guidelines.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of Active Directory, Mailbox administration, DNS, group policies, domain controllers.
  • Good knowledge of Routers, Firewalls, Switches, VPN Devices and wireless and other networking technologies.
  • Good understanding of AV technologies and experience of their administration.
  • Strong understanding of NTFS and share permissions on previous and current Windows Server environments.

Experience

  • 5+ years in Information Technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or another related field, or 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
