Parivartan Social Foundation is seeking skilled volunteer support through Taproot Plus. Taproot Plus is an online platform that connects nonprofits to professionals seeking strong opportunities to volunteer their talent for good. All Taproot Plus projects are vetted and once Parivartan Social Foundation selects a volunteer applicant, Taproot Plus will provide resources and support to help make the project a success.

About This Organization

Bring happiness in lives of students from government schools of remote rural areas via free Education which involves:
  • Career Coaching: Guiding and helping students to build their capabilities and skills to meet their career goals.
  • Technology Awareness: Educating students and teachers about computers and its application in their lives and career.
Grant writing/development - Corporate funding research and proposal writing assistance

Our project is about training teachers in remote rural areas with new-age technology tools that will enable them to keep pace with the world. We already started the project and need support from corporations to achieve project goals. Hence, we are looking for volunteers who can help us in developing good relationships with corporations that support society via CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Volunteers are required to get the right corporations engaged and write proposals to get us funds/grants. The good work that we have started with the support of local government authorities is already appreciated by all and is believed to be a game-changer for school-going communities in rural areas. We just need to map funding needs by engaging corporations via their CSR initiatives (see https://parivartanfoundati7.wixsite.com/ictmt2021/). Hence the role of the right skilled volunteer who wants to be part of this change is really important now. We have been training teachers of remote areas with new concepts of ICT education (like gamification in education, virtual reality in education, etc.). However, to reach out to the larger community, we need to continue this journey and also need funding support. We are therefore looking for some corporate support via CSR initiatives.

With CSR support, we plan to
  • setup couple of learning centers in remote areas (places already identified),
  • call out an execution plan with local government authorities
  • mobilize resources/teachers for ICT workshops in rural areas.
This project can be done remotely.
