Roles and Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-
    • Interact with every patient who enters hospital.
    • Known for their helpfulness and knowledge of the facility,
    • Front office executives direct patients where to go and guide the procedure for OPD and Daycare of patients
    • Admission files creation and entry in system of new patient.
    • Front office executives take care of incoming calls. They provide basic information, such as hours of operation or directions to the place, and direct other inquiries to the appropriate staff member
    • Front office executives may be called upon to perform routine clerical and administrative jobs, such as sorting mail, filing, entering data, and signing for packages.
    • Front office execs may total bills for patients and process payment by running a credit card or verifying a check and process bill.
  • PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • ACCOUNTABILITIES MAJOR ACTIVITIES Front office Management

    • Optimizes patients satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
    • Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patients arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
    • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
    • Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
    • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Receive mail and couriers. And distribution of couriers to the expected receiver.
    • Handle maintenance calls, order office supplies, and troubleshoot photocopiers and printers
    • Enter new Patient in database and open Patient files.
    • EXISTING PAITENT Id no search
    • Collect and distribute all incoming mail and courier items
    • Develop and maintain a tracking system on all incoming & outgoing mails and courier items for the office.
    • Generate IPD, OPD bills.

    Patient Management

    • Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, visits and maintaining records and accounts.
    • Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
    • Comforts patients by anticipating patients anxieties, answering patients questions, and maintaining the reception area.
    • Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
    • Sending footfall record to the floor manager
    • Refund register (doctor advise ) refund to the paitent
    • Discount advise sign check and update in system as well as register
    • Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
    • Protects patients rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.

    Documentation and recordkeeping

    • Incoming/Out going call log
    • Footfall data entry
    • Call appointment register
    • Maintenance register
    • Discount register.
    • Courier register(incoming)
    • Maintain patient information in HMIS as well as manually.
