Job Description
Job Description As a Senior Power Integrity engineer you will be part of a power delivery team responsible for overcoming power delivery challenges through innovations and delivering solutions that span a wide range of challenges at the platform, package and SOC level. This involves working with architects, technology development, power teams, floor-planners, IP designers, package and platform designers from pathfinding all the way to production of highest performance processors. Key focus areas will include all areas related to Power Integrity like MIM decoupling allocation, grid choices and analysis, automation, droop control, on-die solutions like integrated VRs, LDOs, Power gates, voltage specification characterization and delivery, running/reviewing simulation, measurements of results from lab characterization at the system level, SOC power ESD compliance, On-die droop detector placements and capabilities, working with manufacturing and Electrical Validation teams.


Qualifications


Qualifications: Education: B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 10-15 years of experience Key skills: � Good technical knowledge in PDN , Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Metal grid optimization and analysis � Experience in working with package team � Hands on work in Power Planning, die level Power Integrity and die power modeling � Expert in die level reliability checks that includes EM and ESD analysis, RDL routing and bump planning � Experience in Analog IP integration and power delivery � Solid foundation in digital and analog circuits, IP specifications, Model generation and power delivery analysis � Good knowledge of on-die power delivery circuits like LDOs, Power gates, voltage regulators and full control loop analysis and decoupling solutions � Experience in Platform VRs to ensure compliance of SOC voltage specifications � Knowledge on Redhawk and Synopsys Prime Rail. � Good communication and interpersonal skills � Self-starter and with the ability to multitask across several projects simultaneously
