What you’ll be doing

The HR Policy Communications Specialist is responsible for publishing, maintaining, updating, and communicating HR policies. They coordinate with the COE and HR Business Units to identify when there is a need to create new policy or revise existing policy. They publish the policies – including both physical copies and updating digital copies on the portal. They ensure regulatory compliance of HR policies and will define and detail the HR policies that affect Hitachi’s employees.

This role will be a mixture of remote working and based from Hitachi’s office in Bangalore.

  • Coordinates with COE and HR Business Units to identify need to create new policy or revise existing policy

  • Publishes HR policies and procedures (including both physical copies and updating digital copies on the portal)

  • Maintains, updates, and communicates HR policies and procedures

  • Ensures regulatory compliance of policies and procedures

  • Posts policies through portal or physical posting in place of work (if required)

  • Develops policy communication programs and strategy
