Exp: 10-15 years; Responsible for total Purchasing Volume (PVO) of an assigned (Sub) Commodity (with the focus on Pooling).
  • Manages (Sub) Commodities cross-business (for specific material field) or for one business, and fosters cross-functional alignment.
  • Coordinates and manages a virtual/ line management team to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, targeted activities and to increase profit from global and cross-business or sourcing for one business.
  • Defines (Sub) Commodity structure, organization and strategy in alignment with Management; develops and implements material productivity measures to achieve the maximum contribution to the targets.
  • Communicates the strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
  • Negotiates frame contracts; defines core assortment; documents frame contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems.
  • Forwards systematically all relevant Procurement related project information (e.g. updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to keep all project participants up to date.
  • Identifies particular procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage/ exploit potential opportunities through risk and change management.
  • Performs Supplier Management, in particular Supplier Development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain. Responsible to negotiate and close terms and conditions with local and global suppliers. Responsible applying the terms negotiated with suppliers, ensuring capacities and cost competitive pricing. Collaborate in analyzing current suppliers capacities for projects as well as new technologies in the market. Collaborate in developing new suppliers for components and services. Collaborate in Core Cost analysis, negotiation of commercial conditions and contracts definition with suppliers Register and generate in the SAP all information and orders related to Purchasing. According to the timing of the project monitor suppliers performance and anticipate forecast. Cooperate with Quality in prototypes acceptance and supply chain homologation. Represent Purchasing at events related to the function and activity. Monitor and benchmark the cost analysis between projects and between regions. Experience in electronic components in procurement. You will have to support procurement of Convertor and Invertor Candidate has to travel from Nellore to Mamandur plant whenever required. Also has to visit supplier location
