Job Title:Global MarkingData Monitoring Assistant

Purpose of job:

The post holders will be responsible for manual data checking and data entry on IWAS. The post holders will be responsible for daily reconciliation on the IWAS platform for CD IELTS score completion, as well as manual entry of Global Absence data on IWAS for CD IELTS.
The post holders will provide support to the Global business, in terms of ensuring that monitoring and data entry for CD IELTS is completed on IWAS within a reasonable timeframe. The quick turnaround time for CD IELTS results processing (3-5 days) means that the tasks involved in this role are time critical.

Main opportunities/challenges for this role:

  • Provide daily reports from IWAS on unconfirmed scores for test centres globally who are delivering CD IELTS tests
  • Provide manual input of data related to Absence of CD test takers in IWAS
  • Reports are accurate, timely and relevant
  • Will become an expert in the manual management of score reconciliation and data input on the IWAS platform
  • Raise support tickets to ensure technical issues are picked up quickly, this is particularly important for this role covering the weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Assist with manual data collection linked to data input cycles (specific days of the week)
  • Assist with data mining, for example – helping with data cleansing for data sources input to our reporting platforms (Business Objects, Power BI etc)

Main Accountabilities:

Service delivery

  • Works with the Global Marking Data team to ensure that score reconciliation and data entry on IWAS is complete
  • Prioritises work and resolves day-to-day operating resource issues for a nominated team, to ensure high quality, consistent and efficient services are delivered
  • Makes recommendations to managers on procedural improvements and other operational initiatives to drive enhance team performance
  • Shares examples of process/procedural best practice with appropriate colleagues in the Global Marking Team to drive continuous improvement in the BC’s operational capability, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Assist with collection baseline information to inform business intelligence reporting
  • Maintains data integrity and security.
  • Takes extra security precautions when handling personally identifiable data
  • Performs data requests in a timely manner.
  • Communicates score reconciliation and data entry compliance to the Global Marking Team Data Coordinator(s)
  • Ensures the quality of data sources is maintained to an appropriate standard

Risk & compliance

  • Adheres to standardised processes regarding compliance with agreed corporate risk management procedures relevant to service delivery (e.g. child protection, security policies, financial protocols, anti-fraud measures) to protect the interests of the BC and its customers at all times. Highlights to managers any instances of non-compliance.

Role Requirements:

One role will require a Tuesday to Saturday schedule and the other role will require a Sunday to Thursday schedule, with occasional cover for each role as required

  • Proven experience delivering objectives within a team to ensure that the service is delivered is on target on an on-going basis

  • Knowledge of Excel and basic data management
