Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world’s information. We’re responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As the Group Product Manager for Core DevX, you will play a pivotal role as the technical/domain expert who manages how AI is infused across the Core DevX portfolio to make our developer products even more helpful and intuitive. You will also play a key role in shaping how we enable developers and companies to build AI-powered applications and solutions. You’ll own the holistic, cross-product AI strategy and roadmap for the Core DevX portfolio, and connection with Google’s AI and Cloud platforms. You will work closely with our product management, engineering, user experience, partners, and community to create bi-directional feedback and making our portfolio of products stronger.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI strategy and roadmap for the Core DevX product portfolio, including generative AI requirements, prototypes, UX, business models, and experiments.
• Engage with developers, enterprises, and industry partners to understand their needs and drive overall delivery of platform features to enable use cases in a scalable way.
• Deliver innovative features to support novel use cases for developer workflows and help developers to create amazing end user experiences.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers across distinct Google product areas to execute a consistent platform developer experience and go-to-market strategy.
• Communicate vision, direction, and delivery plans to executive leaders, engineering and cross-functional teams, and partners.
