Minimum qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Technology, or equivalent practical experience
  • 14 years of experience in media advertising, marketing on the client side, consulting, or digital marketing
  • 3 years of experience in managing people
  • Experience in managing multi-market/regional stakeholders


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in creating annual business and investment plans
  • Knowledge of online/offline advertising solutions and the media landscape
  • Ability to work well in managing cross-functional partnerships and global stakeholders
  • Excellent global communication, presentation skills to drive strategic thinking and big picture outcomes and to bring direction to the work of the team
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and project management skills

The gCare Google Customer Solutions (GCS) team is a solution-generating force that helps our sales teams and advertisers. These solutions need to be scalable to support millions of customers worldwide. In addition to consulting on the customer side, we work with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams within Google to develop better tools and services to improve our products based on the evolving needs of our users. Our vision in gCare GCS is to be trusted experts for our customers and internal stakeholders creating a thriving ads ecosystem where our customers are successful. The gCare GCS team is an organization designed to drive high value and impact for the largest small and medium businesses in the GCS portfolio. Working closely with our cross program solutions teams and our Central Operations team, you will collaborate with our key GCS sales stakeholders in the US market, to help them solve for client objectives, providing optimization insights and opportunities and solutions for advertisers.

As the Head of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for managing a large team of Digital Marketing Strategists and their manager, supporting GCS’ top E-Commerce advertisers. You will be a critical partner to the Americas Sales teams and will be responsible for day-to-day partnership in achieving strategic objectives and running the day-to-day digital media operations for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own and build a holistic e-commerce strategy and narrative for the organization that can make us successful.
  • Lead the e-commerce team of digital media specialists and their managers responsible for account level excellence, and help clients reach their business objectives.
  • Inspire teams of marketing strategists to deliver excellent performance and develop their digital marketing expertise specifically with the e-commerce business. Provide mentorship, meaningful career evaluations, and facilitate professional development plans.
  • Build a culture of teamwork internally, and nurture strong Americas sales partnerships. Be the face of gCare GCS solutions for the e-commerce business, and have a keen sense of priorities driving the business outcomes.
