About Client:

Our Client is a Belgium potato product manufacturer who supplies French fries and other delicious Potato Specialties to retail, food service and industrial customers worldwide.

In Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, the JV has been setting up an integrated potato processing complex with forward and backward connections. With its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, AMPL has begun producing potato flakes with a 5400 MT annual capacity.

Position Title : Operations Head

Work Location : Bijnor (UP) - 3 hours drive from Delhi (India)

Reporting to : Business Head

Key Role & Responsibilities:

 Leading the operations team responsible for Engineering, Production, Packaging & Quality.

 Sets up operational objectives on medium and long term for the operations team resulting in strategic plans.

 Conducts the general management of the site. Leading operations, safety and environment, technical services.

 Part of the operations team where day to day issues are being discussed and where efforts needs to be anticipated to ensure a smooth operation of the plant.

 Monitoring quality standards set by the QHSE department, hygiene, safety or environmental regulations / legislation and ensuring this for all activities and finished products.

 Ensuring availability and easy accessibility of knowledge concerning all operational

production and packaging activities.

 Analysing and assessing on basis of figures of all organization departments, administration of financial results of various processes and their effectiveness.

 Aligning all the stakeholders throughout the project and maintaining a constructive

relationship with the social partners and local authorities in all situations that have an impact on employees and/or their working conditions.

 Following up, stretching, and adjusting KPIs related to performance of the Plant.

 Part of the project team for new capex investment

o Define and allocate resources for factory operational requirements ensuring the

organizational goals.

o Provide technical inputs for licensing activities.

o Prepare and develop organization for future operations.

o Develop organizational budget.

Educational and practical requirements:

 You are willing to move to Bijnor (Uttar Pradesh).

 Master’s degree in engineering (from a reputed Institute) with excellent analytical skills.

 10 years of work experience in a competitive Food/FMCG industry. Preferably you managed operations and investment projects.
