‘Sterlite Copper’, a unit of Vedanta Limited, is one of the leading copper producers in India. Sterlite Copper has units at Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu & Silvassa in the Unit Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Fujairah Gold at UAE. The operations includes a 4,00,000 MT per annum Copper Smelter with Refinery, Sulphuric and Phosphoric Acid plants and Copper plant at Tuticorin in Southern India and a Refinery and two Copper Rod Plants at Silvassa in Western India. At Fujairah Gold, we operate a Continuous Cast Rod Plant with an annual capacity of 1,00,000 MT and Precious Metal Refinery with an annual capacity of 50 MT of Gold, 120 MT of Silver.

The Opportunity:

An exceptional career opportunity for innovative, committed and forward-looking individual to create transformational value in Security function.

The candidate will be responsible to coordinate with key stakeholders inside and outside the premises and to create strong intelligence system for smooth running of business. S/He will manage the security operations and coordinate security initiatives across the site and to develop intelligence network across peripheral villages/area. Coordinate and implement site security measures for protection of company assets. Ensure compliance and security assurance through periodic reviews/audits and investigate security breaches, fraud cases and other incidents. Design and implement security policies and procedures ensuring overall physical security of the plant. Monitoring and control of man, material and vehicular movements in and out of the plant. Should focus on digitalization and devise and execute strategies for up gradation of existing security system in line with the best in class industry practices.

The ideal incumbent should be from defence background with adequate experience in Industrial Security Profession.

• Exposure to global best practices in natural resources sector (across Oil & Gas and Metal & Mining) or in large manufacturing setup
• Strong background of Industrial Security & Intelligence Systems, Data Analytics, Global Benchmarking, Technology & Digitalization
