Role : Jr. People & Culture Business PartnerDepartment : People and CultureReporting : People and Culture Business Partner, S&E Asia
  • CommercialLocation : Nashik, Maharashtra ( Expected travel to Mumbai office
  • 2 days every 2 weeks OR 5 days in a month)Position Purpose : The incumbent will act as a strategic business partner for our plant site in Nashik - ensuring strong compliance, engagement, L&D and performance & productivity measurement, along with handling acting as interim Country P&C BP - support other functions in the country and acting as their business partner on ground.This role will liaise strong with the Regional P&C Business Partners to drive regional projects and agendas for the group and the region.Job Description :Country Responsibilities :
  • Manage the recruitment and selection processes with first line managers, ensuring compliance of Group procedures.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.Support on Regional Activities :
  • Support on all local employees activities implementation, communication and roll out
  • New Policy/Annual Process/Scheme/Benefits etc
  • Support Regional People & Culture Business Partner to drive any activities related to specific functions
  • Monitor employment legislation and best practice in people management and recommend improvements to HR procedures and policies
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.- Lead or Support on Regional Assignment or Projects as assigned- Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualification :
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience with Bachelor’s degrees, Masters - preferred.- Plant exposure / experience of labour law
  • Preferred.- Familiar and Knowledgeable on Indian Local Labour Laws and other employment laws- Exposure to handle multiple stakeholders and drive projects and initiatives on ground- Ability to work and communicate with people at all levels of the organisation- Strong ability to communicate in English- Analytical mindset (ref:iimjobs.com)
