Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a caring, sensitive and proactive student counsellor who is well qualified and who has experience with handling personal issues of adolescents. The candidate must have a Masters in Psychology from a reputed institution, a specialization in childrens counselling and 5-10 year’s experience of having worked with young people. Knowledge of what the needs and demands of a residential school student are would be an added advantage.

The candidate should have had some experience with various counselling techniques (ranging from person centred therapy and gestalt therapy to rational emotive behavior modification therapy) and be able to adjust the therapy to the needs of the students.

The work involves teaching Life Skills classes, conducting workshops for parents and students on a variety of issues and the candidate must be able to handle group as well as one on one counselling sessions with the students.
