Roles and Responsibilities

* Candidate should have experience in Design of Overhead Travelling cranes, Hoists, monorails, jib cranes, gantry & wall cranes, etc as per CSA- B167 standards, IS 807 standards or equal. * Should independently handle the design and development of hoist related equipment for the project along with the supporting/ mounting structure and its strength related calculations and documentation. Candidate should hold the responsibility to provide the safe & cost effective working design for different projects and applications. * Should be able to design wire rope Drum /Hoist assembly, End truck assembly, traverse bridges, Hoist bridges, platform, walkway & railing, overhung/ underhung monorail and Rope selection, gear reducer & motor (servo or synchronous) selection, limit switches, encoders, and other control equipment selection. * Should have good knowledge of industrial welding practices /techniques and represent the same in the Design / drawings as and when required. * Candidate shall be responsible for final/ multi-stage inspection and testing of the equipment and necessary follow up during production stage at our plant facilities. * Good knowledge of Selection of various engineering materials and components such as carbon steels, alloy steels, gearbox, motor, chain, sprockets, gearing, bearings, limit switches, etc. * Review technical specifications and drawings to release for production. * Prepare & review GA drawings, BOM/BOQ w.r.t. specification & customer requirements. * Prepare GA Drawings & Fabrication drawings, detailed engineering drawings, BOM/BOQ.

Desired Candidate Profile

* Have basic understanding of engineering design calculations such a structural loading calculation, torque/power calculation, bending-shear force calculation, etc., and Strength of material & Machine design fundamentals. * Understand manufacturing process, process capabilities and establish tolerances using knowledge of components & assemblies used for intended function. * Understanding of new product development process. * Have a fundamental knowledge of hydraulic circuit design and selection of hydraulic parts. * Ensure use of AWS, ANSI & ASME, and OSHA standard in design. * Hands on Work exp. on 3D modeling & drawing, Assembly, sheet metal & weldments in SolidWorks CAD. *Experience on engineering software such as SolidWorks must, AutoCAD 2D, ERP, SAP, PDM/PLM, Project management, scheduling is preferred. * Hands on Work exp. In DFMEA, DFM & DFA analysis. * Create design concept & detail engineering -Knowledge in GD&T, Tolerance stack up analysis. *Execute complex design projects from start to delivery, *Analytical, problem solving & decision making skills, *Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams to fully execute project deliverables. *Effective Team management, Positive attitude, Innovative approach, high result orientation, * Candidate must be fluent in English. * Ready to relocate in Sanand, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. * successful candidate has to sign a 3 year service agreement ( bond) with the company along with 3 cheques each of one month’s take home pay. The cheques will be used if he/she leave the service within this period with out our consent. The cheques will be returned after bond period is over, The salary will be directly credited in to candidate’s bank account every month.
